Kairos Leaders Gather for a Summit in a Closed Country

A Kairos Leaders’ Summit was held recently in a closed country.

Twenty-four participants (Kairos Course Coordinators and Head Facilitators) came and joined the summit which was a time of discussing about Kairos ethos and values, planning, sharing insights and challenges and learning from each other. One of the LSI teaching staff helped coordinate the event.

A Kairos National Team (KNT) was also formed during the summit. The team is composed of several mission leaders (in their own denomination, network or local church). This group of leaders seemed to take on consensus decision-making naturally when it was introduced to them. They also exhibited servant-leadership.

There were, however, some “retaliation attempts” by the enemy in the face of these developments. One Course Coordinator had human waste thrown inside his house one time. Suspected thieves also broke into the National Coordinator’s house during that time but miraculously they were not able to take anything. The Lord prevailed.

The KNT in this closed country has decided to hold a yearly leaders’ summit.
