A Medical and Dental outreach was held for the Marangal* and Maanyag* communities last February 8-9.

On February 8, a total of 240 people benefited from the medical services while 85 people benefited from the dental services held at one community. On February 9, a total of 210 people were able to avail of the medical services while 60 people were able to avail of dental services at the second community.

For the two outreaches, a team both from Manila and Butuan helped out.
All in all there were 2 medical doctors, 3 dentists, 1 physical therapist and 11 nurses.

A non-medical team of volunteers helped out during the outreaches and did the counseling and prayer for the people who came for treatment. The people were given the chance to decline if they did not want to be prayed for. But majority of those who came were very open and welcomed being prayed for.
